Ingredients

6 cloves garlic, crushed

1 medium onion, chopped

3 stalks celery, diced (1/2 cup)

4 ears fresh corn, boiled and grated (2 cups)

1 medium  potato, cut into cubes (1/2 cup)

1 small carrot, cut into cubes (1/2 cup)

2-1/4 cups  meat broth or water

1 cup evaporated milk

4 stalks green onions, chopped (1/4 cup)

 

 

Procedure

Saute garlic, onions and celery in oil. Add corn, potatoes and carrots.

Pour in meat broth or water, then simmer until vegetables are half tender.

 

Add  2 ½ tbsp. Rock salt and ½ tsp pepper.

Simmer until vegetables are cooked.

 

Stir in milk and cook for 5 minutes.

Top with chopped green onions just before serving.

 

 

Make 6 servings.
